I don't know how much you use TA such as bollinger bands, but I just looked at INTC and it looks ripe for an explosion, one way or the other. This is funny because last spring I looked at INTC for a possible monthly straddle. I went back about a year and recorded the INTC prices from one options expiration to the next and found that 9 or 10 out of 12 months I could have made a 50% return per month by playing a straddle on INTC. This was a very exciting money-making discovery. Unfortunately I never was able to put it into action as I soon after quit trading until about Jan of this year. The reason I quit tradding was that my broker restricted my option activity right after some very successful trades because he said I was trading too much money in options for my income level. I was a college student at the time so I only reported $10k in income. But anyways once I build myself back up (capital wise) I will research revamping this strategy. I especially like this strategy because if we ever get a market correction (or I should say when we get the next one) you will still profit heavily from the move. Well it is time to get back to my good friend Leinenkugel.
