Are you serious about "I'd suggest hedging investments in the semis with some short positions ". Shorting the semi right now. Maybe a good idea back in October but I don't think so right now. Everything is well off it's highs and maybe there are some down side in the equips at the moment, but not much. I think we are seeing a bottom here in the semi with strong movement upward in the next 2-4 months.
