The official spin is that the company has moved from R&D to marketing and now to contract performance and needs a different skill mix in the senior management team. This makes sense since Pete Harrod is an engineer with a lot of management experience. The scientists and politicians that Commodore has had in management positions just don't know how to actually use their technologies to make money.

I view it as a very positive move.
