Theres a difference. This exercising of options or whatever, goes to the companys coffers. The money keeps the company alive, and chugging. If the insiders are doing this, its only because they dont have any other FAVORABLE funding option in the light of their recent mixed results for memantine. They believe in their drug, they want to reach the next milestone without diluting the shareholders and their position, but it doesnt change the fact that it could still be boom or bust.

Now if these insiders were buying from the open market, then thats insider buying, the money wouldnt go to the company, and I would be interested...
