I think we miss the point, and the potential, when we focus on news for the sake of news. Franklin has officially released 21 news items in 1996, and we still have two months to go. I have never called them to ask when the next news release was going to come out, because the date and time don't matter to me. All the news in the world won't mean a thing unless Franklin can make money. I may be wrong, and will gladly accept anyone's correction, but is Helen/Frank giving certain dates or approximate dates? I would guess approximate?
I understand the importance of news, but it must be accurate and factual. From everything I've read, everyone employed by Franklin is busier than a cat burying s**t on a sidewalk. I believe they understand the importance of shareholder relations and news, but hopefully, right now, they are trying to put the pieces together that will allow them to take full advantage of all the opportunities that I believe are in front of them. News to me is like icing on a cake, and icing is important, but if the cake tastes putrid, word gets around fast.. "Looks good, tastes horrible".
When all is said and done I want a cake I can eat too.
And of course you know, my opinion only.
