Hello, Jason's Mom.

To me, this is a disturbing piece of news. Maybe one of us should contact Wavephore to get clarification. No doubt in my mind that Microshaft shoved this down little WAVO's throat. Deeds, Goldman, and crew were forced to accept this "It's IE4 or out the door" ultimatum at least for now because they don't have much clout at this time (they're not Citrix, you know!). I'm sure they don't like it...why would they want to limit their product to IE users only? Perhaps they're hoping to get their foot in the door and then let Reno force Microsoft to allow Netscape users to use their browser.

I'm not up on today's numbers, but I think Netscape has around 60% of the market (anybody have an accurate number?). Of these, some (like me) might reluctantly use Explorer to view WaveTop, while others would not open that garbage browser no matter what was on.
