MB I would like your opinion on a GEOC a stock I purchased on Friday. They have earnings coming up on 4/16. A major broker put a strong buy on the stock on 4/1. The stock runs up a couple of points on a volume of approx. 100,000 shares. On 4/3 somebody unloads two blocks of 150,000 shares on a daily volume of 500,000 shares. Would the broker put a strong buy on a stock 2 weeks previous to earnings just to unload some shares previous to bad news. If they were the seller who would want to be the buyer. How do you find out who sold the shares and who bought them. Your opinion would be greatly appreciated because I will unload my share 4/6 at a loss rather wait for a negative earnings at a greater loss. In the companies 10 k released on 3/31 in the risk section they comment that some quarters may not meet expectations for various reasons. Is this common just to release this information so as to not have legal ramifications in the future. Or is this a warning sign because they have not prewarned about the upcoming earnings. THANKS
