Cheryl - Shorting stocks is not un-anything. It is betting that a stock's share price is going to decline. Imagine finding a high priced stock, doing your DD, and finding that the share price is based on expectations you know can't be met. Imagine finding out the company probably lied about future earnings probabilities, and the street doesn't grasp it yet. I think it might be "un-american" to not short it. <g>
