Ron, good questions! It is my nature to check everything ... as Andy Grove said: "Only the paranoid survive!"

It makes sense to hire a consulting company to verify that all manufacturing systems are Y2K compliant. If KO and BMY feel that TAVA will help them, GREAT!

But I am questioning TAVA's valuation and their product offering. The market cap of over $300 Million fully diluted seems out of line with the market opportunity. This is especially true when you realize that TAVA will NOT remediate very much code (this is my perception based on my experience as an engineer). If TAVA identifies a problem with a manufacturing system, the vendor will most likely fix the problem. Perhaps if the system was developed in-house, like most ATE, then TAVA can help with the remediation.

This is why I started by reviewing TAVA's product offering. It is essentially a "how to" manual, with a database and a (IMO not very useful) search tool. My guess is TAVA will do well with their consulting business (check out DDIM) and poorly with their CD sales.

Regards, Bill
