Though I am many, many days behind here at DAR, I feel I really must talk once again of MY MY MY kitchen. It does not have tacky pink and white stripes, nor even tackier Walmart "china". The cabinets are palest yellow; the six-burner stovetop brushed steel; the counters a kind of speckled faux-granite. The custom-built table, attached to one was, is covered in the same. The bookshelves are of cherry. The floor is light grey tile.

It is quite chic. It is also pretty easy to clean.
