O say can you see, By the danzerly light..

I confess to an equally silly misinterpretation. As a child, I thought the Lord's Prayer was telling us that something called "Thy" was going to be done ("Thy will_be_done".) I don't know when I finally figured out that "will" was the subject of the verb and not an auxiliary to make it a future tense. I didn't appreciate the subjunctive at that age. Took Latin to teach me that!
