Hello Hayer! Good to see you! I've been around all the time.

Held on to my (not many) shares too.

I just did not feel the urge to write.
But lately I posted this to Cowpland, he did not answer (yet).

Onderwerp: Y2k Opprtunity for Corel?

Dear Mr. Cowpland,

You are, of course, aware of the Millennium matter.

One aspect: hundreds of thousands of PC's (486 and older) will be
replaced because their BIOS-es can not be made Y2K compliant.

Consequently there will be an investment wave in new machines.
I expect the buyers to upgrade all their software and OS's at the same
time.

This could be either a great opportunity for Corel software and the VNC, I gather, or the future of Wordperfect will be blown away
completely together with the old installed base.

My question as an investor is: What is your plan to grab the change and make Y2k a succes for Corel?

Thanks in advance for your answer,

Eveline Bernard
