Why I so strongly recommended it was it really lays out the case why the economics of power generation now favor smaller diverse site production. If you add to the mix the ability to trade, read sell, pollution credits. Ireally believe htis concept of small scale production has a great future. CTAL has partnerships with GE and now PW on the large scale turbines. CAT and RR on the small to medium scale turbine. Woodwar Govnor on the retofit rebuild market. Collectively the market, depending on how you define it, is in the billions of dollars range per year. Even small % of this market would reprsent large $ potenial for CTAL.
If you rumage around old issues of The Economist try and find the article from the fall of 1996 (possibly 1995 sorry just concluding the job that ate my brain) on the necessity for the Pham. industry to move away from a verticle integration model to a more horizonal model.
These two article IMO really strongly support the CTAL business modle.
