Yikes man you ask a lot for one post and say a lot to respond, no problem, I 'll start with the easy tonite and get back to you on the rest
.
>>Orckit the GTE home team?
>>and how did sf get it wrong about csco taking this one?

Actually I had known about GTE loss for a while and knew that Orctf
was the best per line cost, only that other events CSCO/NTSPD occurred and Mr Z made the CSCO comment about them being his choice for winners, that is what SF revealed to me. He felt that their relationship would win out if they could match the price somewhat, but maybe their frame relay solution isn't as good, I dunno that one. Remember to not get too gungho on any of the players though, because this is long fight and winning the early rounds doesn't always pay off. GTE will go bid again, especially once the ATM to the desktop (gates theory) arrives and frame relay no longer is
the best network solution.

>>what's the good doctor putting it at? $330/line

I know people are watching this one for now, Pass

>>therefore orctf will lose that much more?

After the conference call I understand this situation better and we do
not have to worry about profitability. I say we because you sound long on the stock.

>>> Orckit's silicon solution? Shooting mouth off...

That's Ok i am looking for more silicon info myself. I think Orckit is good shape for now. More later

>>sounded like you rather had selling in mind...

I am not sure how I presented the Sell ideA, i MUST WRITE BAD , but I was referring to another reason to buy beyond the DT news and US conract win was one. SF did not get anything wrong he was in ORCTF all along and only relayed the Zionts comments.

>> lu's long-term solution

I cannot comment on LU, it ain't kosher and I'd rather leave it under the pillow awhile

>> Amati's 8W

Ditto

Did you say that this stockwould be range bound come Monday on the WSTL thread? I don't see how this stock with all its finagling and flushing out is going to become range bound unless you mean 16 to 23 as a range. And that may only last a week or so, but the this one has got to break out, right?

>>>just funn'n

That is the spirit I have to get me some of that. And are You Finnish with that savolainen handle? Does the funn'n come from the background or just learned? Seems that the average American ain't so loose!

JUST READ ANOTHER POST OF YOURS, So I'll add what I can until later.

The comments in the past if you have reread them, here is my current state of them

1.) I stand by the DMT 1998 stmt. That refers to the single chip amati solution. Releasing in q4 is possible but only with risk in testing
2) Dovatron eats margin no doubt about and WSTL has to go this route because they cannot the volume.
3) SMD line was nixxed because of the mgmt dec. to conserve cash
and Dovatron was signed as a result and margins will drop as a result.
4) Yes the AMAti chip is that far behind the others in power
5)WSTL employee situation pissed me off the most because I saw so many people's lives being put to misery and I thought if took a little thread trash talking I could help the company out. You see I live around here, am an engineer, and don't like to see such ingregious management neglect so I spoke up..

Guess what.. it is much better now.. Zionts and his team have opened up to the employees and they will rebound

More later
