FWIW.. I've had cable modem since November (Road Runner) from time warner via oceanic cable.. It hasn't lived up to expectations.. been down completely for over a week now and is slower than my Robotics Sportster 28.8 via AOL .. I'm using AOL now to drive this netscape browser instead of cable... what a bummer.. Sometimes the cable modem outperforms... so it shows some potential, but right now it's not worth having..
