I dont know in what direction the discussion is leading us. Im enjoying it anyways - free-for-all extemporizing -.

1.Intel should stop the war they should call it "drive-for-customers", which is according to Clausewitz I guess "just war using other means". Remember, Paranoia is written big at Intel, even with A. Grove fading into the background.

2.Overproduction has nearly destroyed the entire PC sector. Intel should cut back on production, not raise it. This is the method used to keep the coffee or oil prices at a decent level.

3.These products are being purchased by humans.... The rate of change needs to be slowed down. Well, for one, it looks like it will 2000+ before I go and buy anything above Cyrix machine. I have not slowed down, I just think Im control of my buying decisions. Eventually it is the intel's EPS that gets/got the message.
