WHL: How can short players be hurt. There is really only one way and that is for a concerted buying effort to come in and buy every share under the sun. For example, a mutual fund (or a consortium of funds collude) comes in and buys it out from under the shorters nose and guess what...the shorter needs to pay a premium if he does not want to go bankrupt. Is this something you found interesting? KMT
