Stand alone chips and the flexibility they garner will always have a place. NSM is going after new territory. On the downside...the NSM time schedule is behind what I was hoping for. Meanwhile they could introduce less complex chips.
Intel wants it all and has started designing "system chips" but they are far behind NSM. IMHO, they should stick to the high end. The Celery will teach them that...even IF successful, and especially IF successful, the Celeron will hurt their margins...because in the heat of battle the will drop prices...
