I agree larger HD's will not eliminate the need for zip. But, to the extent they reduce demand then it seems Win 98 could possibly have the same effect. As I understand Win 98 will be much more efficient in allocating HD space to files. For those with Win 95 (and do not partition their HD) files are allocated 32K whereas Win 98 (I think) will use either 2K or 4K. This could effectively turn a 2gig drive into a 4gig, give or take.
