Executions are usually instantaneous for market orders, reasonable for limits although I haven't had a lot of luck when chasing a runup.

Online trading commissions are fixed at 14.99 for market and 19.99 for limit orders, but on pennies this structure goes out the window and is a $25 per order + percentage of order but even that seems to vary widely from order to order. I've had pennies trade with a 14.99 commission, but I've had small trades with bizarrely huge commissions (once bought $200 worth of ARET @ .017 and it cost me a $100 commission). I don't sweat those details and it seems to work out okay anyway.
