GM,

I think the long-term growth estimates are the hardest to predict. What you can say about ESV is it has perhaps the strongest history of any of the major drillers in terms of profitably managing its business, getting high rates of return on invested capital, growth, etc. Going forward, its near-term growth estimates remain among the highest in the industry while its PE remains among the lowest. That combination makes ESV a compelling value play. Longer term, ESV should continue to participate in the overall growth of offshore drilling. Though most eyes are riveted on deepwater drilling, ESV with a premier position among jackup drillers, may be positioned to show the best return on assets in a strong drilling environment. ESV is currently available for the same price it was trading at in late January while most other drilling companies are up substantially from where they were. The relatively greater appreciation potential and lower downside is particularly attractive. I've been continuing to accumulate while these prices are available.

good luck,
Baird
