Not good enough? economist.com

This is on my favorite off topic dead horse, Intel and cheap PC's. But, it's from Bill's (former) favorite periodical, and it has this nice, somewhat on topic quote.

However, with the FTC investigation into Intel's business practices in full swing, Alpha's future is politically sensitive. Unlike Microsoft, Intel has a clear idea of the obligations placed on a dominant firm and has a reasonable record of sticking at least to the letter of antitrust law.

Those cranial-anal whiner commies at Intel, no wonder they got problems. They need to take up another varietal in the whine department. "It's not fair" that antitrust only applies to monopolists.

Cheers, Dan.
