That's right. BILLIONS of dollars. AMD's business is not to create NEW computer users.. it's to GATHER and STEAL them from INTC! Those BILLIONS of dollars, as you put it, are dollar for dollar the exact earnings AMD will be making over the next 10 years as they STEAL business from INTC. Dollar for dollar, that's a reduction in INTC's revenues. As revenues decline and INTC spends more and more to try to create new product, guess where the profits go - into the ground.... AMD creates better, cheaper product and spends much MUCH less researching to do it...
