Platter, I didn't say that the CCIR deal would be free and easy. I said they were not breaking pollution and EPA laws. All these consolidation come costs ... layoffs and restructuring charges, duplicated R&D programs, goodwill write downs, etc. That is why acquiring firms' stocks usually take a hit. Maybe delayed a little with Hadco but it is the usual thing. Hadco is still a good company and a good investment long term though.
