Dumb?? Political stupidity, but dumb?? With any market that attempts to re-write the books on value, will get corrected in time. Maurice rants about the prinitng of money, but we did that in the 60's. End results were what? We had unbashed economic growth in the '20's and a fever about stocks, end results? Even the merger driven, greenmail market of the'80's end in what?? Yet there are various mechanisms that one can employ that will buffer the fall, whether it is a correction in the context of a bull run or just your plain old bear market. Irony, we talk about vaporware in the technology of CDMA. What about the vaporware of investing?? We value on the demand for the issues of paper of a company, but what is it's intrinsic value to buy that company? We talk avout synergies of a deal, but how long will it take to bring that company into line with value? Flash the mighty M just release better than expectation of $.30 vs expected (revised downward) of $.23. Could bode well tomorrow for the Q!!
