Charliss, I understand exactly what you are saying. I said here today that homosexuality was a variation of human destiny and experience. I do think that when you are in a forum where many people consider homosexuality a sin, however, that simply moving in the direction of understanding the concept that it is not willful, sinful behavior is positive.
Obviously, most Christians are no longer arguing that it is a sin to be black, or have a disability. Certainly, if homosexuality is not determined by the individual, but comes with him or her somehow, it might be possible to open a window of tolerance and understanding for homosexuals. |
