Dear Ken,
I think your advice to take a breather is excellent and after answering this, I am going back to lurking again until this is all resolved. AND, I certainly hope it is soon.
I posted several times that it was my opinion Bunte deserved to be found guilty and thought surely you would remember that, but I, like you and all on this thread certainly had more information than any of those on that jury and if they felt the prosecution did not present a solid enough case without showing reasonable doubt they had no choice but to acquitt. Our laws state that and are there for a reason. All attys no matter which side they are on take oaths to uphold our system. Agree about right and wrong.
I was wrong when I said the post about there being a product was to Robert Huffman. It actually was by someone named Frank Potts posted to Raleigh Baughman and is post #475. The second paragraph reads:
"All of the user references you have listed have installed the Superior Acqua System, Manufactured by Superior Aqua Enterprises, Inc. NVID or its wholly owned subsidiaries started manufacturing Copper/Silver Ionizers ABOUT FOUR MONTHS AGO".
At the bottom of the post it stated, "If you have any questions or comments please respond by fax to 941-925-4509".
This man states in plain words that NVID did have a product. Here is somebody posting that to this thread and leaving a fax number. I believe that he too is in the business and knows what a product is or wouldn't have said that. I believe he too had a connection to the competitor and wanted to make sure that everyone had this information. Really that too was good cause he did say that WetN'Wild installed three of the competitors units and that NVID did install a unit also several months before. If NVID installed a piece of equipment at WetN'Wild just what do you think it was if not a product? NVID was attempting to get the Wild'Wet account, I think. This is a highly competitive business. You might go read the whole post and I referred to that post in another post to you that I did last year. I know that there has been so much posted and it is hard to remember if you don't print out the posts that are really important to all this.
The post that I am referring to was originally #2027 and was dated May 16, 1997 and directed to Kerry Goodson and it was pulled. It was the one that Derek Allen came forth with after I had questioned him if he had seen if Diana Korpal had an employment contract. He had stated that he had seen personnel records of this company in another post. Now how did he get those when it was stated the SEC had raided the offices and taken all their files. After a while he came on with this post that listed personal salaries of the company individuals that he had gotten from an unnamed source and stated he could not verify it. He also listed a salary for Craig Sheffield and I questioned him why Craig Sheffield would make so much more than Arata if Arata was so big in this company. (I thought he would do his math before stating that info. and figure that discrepancy out) He kinda goofed there too in my opinion and I called it to his attention. Arata's salary was the least of all. Makes sense because Arata was not considered upper management in the real sense I think and was a technician and worked more in the service end of the business and naturally it would be lower. The puzzle has many pieces if you can fit it all together and yes, details are extremely important in many cases. They can get to the truth, which one already has. It has not been completed yet and it is my hope that it will so we all will know the truth about this.
There was another post #2123 that Derek Allen submitted that listed all the employees shares, and for whatever reason, listed the number of shares that Kerry Goodson had. How and why would Derek Allen post a private investor's shares on this thread and just how do you think he could get this information too. Does that not invade his privacy if it is true or not. In my opinion he was trying to make it look like Kerry Goodson was also an employee of this company. Kerry Goodson posted right back that it was not so. If he thought Kerry was an employee why did he not list him in his post #1923. This made me suspicious also. This also caught my eye as Derek Allen was just bearing down too hard as a professional for a private firm. That in itself was another one of the the things that lead me more to think there WAS another motive here. I personally do not believe Derek Allen is a professional investor in any shape or form. It just does not fit the profile he has presented here even with his information. I believe that most would report a company and then get back to their business and just watch it unfold and not take such a personal interest in killing a company. Certainly just my opinion and you evidently disagree. Just like the stock market sometimes you can be lied to by people with an agenda.
I do not agree it is OK to try to convict people when you say you have no hard proof and this man has now admitted what I argued with him about last year. Whether that hard proof comes out later or not, you as a private citizen have no right to make that decision and publish it. Giving the information he did on Klenovic and Bunte at the time certainly was enough to make people aware of the scam and his purpose and agenda was set in his post #1923 when he stated he did not want this company crippled he wanted it dead. That is a great deal to think about in all this.
Though I did not tell you at the time, I was a member of H$H last year and was surprised at some of the things I read on other stocks on those threads (after reading info about some of the hype words to look for). I have found that many honest people get excited about a stock and believe in them and express it after doing DD. When they find out that they too have been lied to it is a hard lesson to learn. It really does happen to the best of people and I have read that kind of information on other threads I have lurked on. I have always been more of a lurker on anything, because I have never spoken out unless I felt extremely strong about something and I surely did about this thread because I had never read anything like it. It was the first time I had ever posted to any company thread like this all the years I have been lurking. Sometimes now I have wondered why I did, but as you say, right is right and wrong is wrong. Some things I just read and remember. Fortunate to still have a very good memory...VBG
Not all CPS's are qualified by experience as a CPA to have the knowledge to run a company, but yes, if you are the Presidnet of a public company you should have that knowledge and experience and Bunte had a corp. that was the shell that previously operated a video company that had failed for whatever reason. Maybe it was not managed well, I do not know.
I think we have all agreed that Derek Allen bringing Klenovic's scam to light was certainly good and I believe we have all thanked him numerous times. Another man had posted, #690. and (his name was Sam Poser) said that he had invested in what turned out to be a scam, and stayed invested and after the bad guys were removed, the new management turned the company around and he actually ended up making money on the stock. So it has happened before and if Derek Allen just happens not to be successful in killing this company we will get the chance to see, I hope.
I believe we all feel compassion for those that lost money in this stock, especially the Mr. Story who cried on the stand, who apparently had invested his life savings. It is unfortunate but we all are put in that position if we go whole hog and invest too much in any company at first without watching a stock and adding when we see how the company progresses. I have learned that if nothing else in all this. I have lurked and found that there are many more like myself who invested on someone else's DD and more newsletters are coming on the internet each day. I know that they add disclaimers, but think too many are lazy as I was at first and don't do DD. That apparently is a very competitive business too.
Back to lurking so will not respond. Hope I have given you the information you wanted to discuss. Taking your advice for sure.
My regards,
nhaynes
P.S. Bill, you have once again shown your wisdom and honesty, and very well said. Good advice that I agree with. I really do enjoy your posts but I know just how you feel about being pulled in and out of this thread. If NVID is allowed to remain in business I will just have to see how it goes on this thread with regard to meaningful information. At this point, if it does not change I think it might become a one or two person thread, and I do not intend to be either. if it doesn't. There are so few posting now. I certainly believe the competitor investor kept his stock for a reason and I wonder if he will sell if the company is allowed to continue, kinda doubt it myself. Best regards to you, nh
P.S.S. Norma I am not going to reply to your post at this time, but thank you for answering my post. Maybe when this is all over things will be different. I hope so. I am tired and need to catch up and attend to other matters. Best regards to you too, nh |
