Bear, I've paid an awful price to acquire this semblance of arrogance. I actually like to think of it in terms of confidence in my calls, as I was when I made the call on this thread for the market to move towards dow 10000 on a nearly vertical plane from the 7800 area in late January, inspite of the then prevailing bearishness. There are moments that are suitable for me to step in to this thread to make the call, and I prefer to do it when a big change is coming that isn't seen or being discussed. Otherwise, what good am I, if everyone already is leaning in the right direction? The key is to know the right direction, and that's what I've dedicated the last 2.5 years of my life to find out.

And whenever I'm wrong, I pay the ultimate price, in terms of dollars lost that represent the life's work of myself, my family, and my clients. There's no greater inspiration for learning to walk this tightrope we must walk to be successful in the markets.
