Any idea why VSAT dropped over 11% today. The only possibility I can think of is that investors sold VSAT and bought Gilat Sat(GILTF). Today, GILTF and investing partners officially launched Global Village Telecom (GVT).

GVT is going to set up rural telephony systems based upon GILTF DAMA technology. GILTF can increase its GVT ownership from 5% (today) to more than 40% through various options and therefore enjoy the recurring revenue.

It seems to me that GILTF wants to become a minature Loral; a satellite communications company expanding into telecommunication services.
