Charliss, actually this is the first time in quite a while I've even looked at any thread except for briefly some other investment related threads. But I have Shalom bookmarked, and saw a post of his in which it looked to me like he was admonishing Christine. So I read the post, and it fit with the same type of things I've also pointed out to Christine in the several weeks past, so I agreed with Shalom, that Christine does indeed attempt to use the Bible to further her own agenda, which seems to be (going by her posts on a regular basis) to try to paint Christians with a bad brush.
And Charliss, I tell you the truth here: This is the very first time in my life that I have engaged in an ongoing debate with opposers of my religion. It started several weeks ago, when I innocently responded to Christine's open request that anyone with Biblical knowledge, to post what the Bible says about homosexuality. Since I did that, my personal religion has been under a running and near-continual attack by Christine, who for some reason just really resents Christians. I don't intend to keep up this debate, and will drop it again, like I have done in the past.
People like Christine essential in my recipe of my religion? You've gotta be kidding. |
