Getcher,

As for the Japanese, plenty of beurocratic BS overthere, and not fully aware of their foreign investment restrictions of the normal investor, but do understand that there are limits and restrictions.

There is also the matter of nationalism which many in the West do not fully understand of the Asians. Yes they too are changing but it will take a longer time. Look how the Koreans turned their gold in to help the country. The Japanese may not be at that level but there will be an issue of nationalism first.

Technically, there will be a much larger pullback down the road and as you say there may be enough fundamental issues to support it. But for the interim, there will be a small technical correction with at least a rebound to the highs, if not higher then a top in the early part of the summer/MAY.

Now on a fundamental basis, sure news/major fundamental changes can over-ride the technicals. If GE or someother big doggie reports bad or some other dramatic news, things will change.
