Mathew, it is such a pleasure to talk with somebody as intelligent and interested in such things as you are. One day you might achieve status such as the truly esteemed Miss Penni, jfred and CGB. Please forgive my descriptive name for you just as I forgive your varied names for me.

Miss Penni says each of us is the hero of our own story. So too are you Mathew. We each have our own mystical belief systems. Yours in randomness, mine in causation. Every slightly tricky choice you make is grounded in ignorance. Because you cannot know more than an infinitesimal amount about your surroundings, you make experiential guesses about likely outcomes. These are volitional - you integrate as much of your surroundings as you are able and act out your mystical belief in the probable outcome.

If you were a deity, you would have no trouble as all would be known. We are doing a lot better than the mathematical calculations of an earthworm, but we still have trouble with determining the next moves of the stockmarket or where the next bird dropping will land.

You said: "John Galt is an original thinker and his NEW philosophy is in it's developmental stage". Yes, Mathew, you too are the hero of your story and, like us all, are developing a NEW integrated philosophy to guide you through the darkness of mysticism. I wish you well and hope you never give up the fight against mysticism. Be mindful that the most dangerous mysticism is your own. You have the most powerful influence on your outcomes and your mystical mistakes are the ones most likely to be damaging to you.

You said: "The burden of proof is on you to reveal this order. To argue that randomness DOES NOT EXIST because of our 'lack of knowledge' is the same as arguing GOD EXISTS because of our 'lack of knowledge'." The burden is on each of us to find for ourselves the facts underlying our beliefs. Others are essential to this process as our individual reality revealing abilities are insignificant.
Lack of knowledge doesn't mean the God Theory is correct, nor does it mean things are random, nor does it mean things are causal. But all of my experiences and anything I have read have always supported my mystical belief in causation and therefore determinism. I have never seen anything to falsify my conjecture. If you are able to show some experiment which has demonstrated non causal behaviour in any process, I would have my jaw on the floor. I simply cannot believe in magic, Santa or a Dog Theory when ALL around me conflicts with those ideas. But I ashamedly have to admit that it is a mystical belief grounded in horrendously limited experience and knowledge.

You are part of an amazing human journey from individualistic animalism to ever increasing reality perception, at present as individuals and a species. But this is in the process of changing to an extra-corporeal world of electronics where perception and memory are globally acted out and stored for us all to delve into to feed our own "NEW philosophies" and sustain our lives.

I hope this helps you in your understanding of your surroundings so that you too can reduce your mystical beliefs.
