Jack I don't dispute your general train of thought -- the big question, in fact the 64,000,000 question (Canadian funds) is whether potential suitors upon looking deeply at the hard assets - current and future product base -- will find true value.

It EB is there, almost there - then I think this is potentially an easy deal in the making for the right suitor. If EB isn't really there, then I don't think the client list is of value.

Selling / upgrading the install base is dependent on having something of value to offer them.

For example, Lotus wouldn't make its investment back if it were to buy Altris "just" for the client base. They need to acquire a tangible asset in the form of product and R+D that can be quickly exploited.

No one seems to know for sure if EB is in that state or not...
