My thoughts exactly Kasha. I was going to say something like this earlier. I love these guys who think they can forecast the market. Yea right, like you said they would be more popular and more wealthy than Warren Buffet and Bill Gates. If they are so right all the time they obviously aren't putting their money where their mouth is. But they think I should put my money where their mouth is, I don't think so!!! If they won't bet the farm on themselves then they aren't too sure of themselves. I am in the middle of reading "Buffett: The Making of an American Capitalist," and as you all know that is the story of Warren Buffet's life. I think Warren does a pretty good job of forecasting the market as it seems he was pretty much all in cash and bonds during every major crash or bear market and was there foaming at the mouth to scoop up the bargins afterwards. Just like his quote in the book.

"I have never met a man who could forecast the market."

-Warren Buffett
Berkshire Hathaway Annual Meeting, 1987

Although he does seem to jump ship too early in most cases and miss out on a bit of the ride, but better to jump early with your money then hold out till your broke. Plus I tend to think he does pretty well. This is a man who I would take advice from. But then again he is worth over $30 billion. Those guys forecasting the market are probably right up there though.
