<< The Siemens factor has changed... Awareness keeps growing...>>

Hi Jim,

Can you believe the action we've had since the Siemens' contract expired
on March 31st?

(1) Imatron was the subject of a very positive article in the April 6th
edition of Newsweek. Because of early distribution, reports on the
article were being reported online as early as April 2nd.

(2) NBC's Nightly News featured Imatron during the last 7 minutes on
Friday night. I didn't see the segment, but understand that Imatron's
CEO was interviewed.

(3) Imatron may have been mentioned on MSCNBC on Sunday morning I'm not
sure of this one. Perhaps someone else was watching.

(4) Imatron has done two press releases since April 1st, both discussing
recent studies with the Ultrafast CT.

I'd say we're off to a good start. I expect to hear and read more about
Imatron in the Bristol-Myers Squibb radio and newspaper ads for Pravachol.
soon. They were describing the Ultrafast CT scanner in their ads last month
but were prohibited from mentioning Imatron.
