How do you like the time change? (You also set your clocks forward and back an hour during certain times of the year, don't you?)
Personally, I don't care much for it. I'd just as soon whoever decides this stuff left it like it is now. I like having more daylight towards the end of the day versus the beginning.
But I've been making use of it. Which is why I've not been posting as much of late. I've been screening rock out of dirt. Sounds like fun doesn't it? No, not really, but it is a type of work I rather enjoy doing. I hauled about 14 wheelbarrows full of the screened earth about 50 yards to my backyard. Over a year ago, we had some septic work done. After, it was all fixed, there was a depression in the backyard where they had dug up the septic system. I now can take care of that little eye sore. I managed to finish the hauling, then seeded it with grass seed, spread the straw, and watered it before I had to come into the house.
Yesterday, I got the bed done which is behind the rock wall. I decided I'd like to have it level so I began picking away at the remainder of the slope. There was probably about a yard of square footage which I picked and dug and screened. It took me a good two days, but it is done. Now SJ has a nice large bed to plant more flowers in and of course she is excited about that.
Whoe, it is already late. Better hit the hay bale.
