I have owned SUNW for over two years. In that time it has gone from
about 30 to 45 even though they have reported spectacular earnings growth. I think the reason for the poor stock performance in that wise investors recognize that the jihad organized by the Silicon Valley mafia detracts from the strategic focus of SUNW and Netscape.
MacNealy et al don't understand that this kamakazi attack on MSFT
may or may not hurt MSFT, but it will not assure their future. In fact, if you have a successful Kamakazi attack, you have no future.
I will continue to hold the SUNW shares for a while longer, hoping that they wake up and manage their own companies, rather than have
all of their decisions evaluated on the basis of how much they will contribute to screwing Microsoft.
Everybody says that these guys are smart. Do they actually think that by contributing to the Democratic Party and by hiring big time Republicans as their lobbyists they can not only influence policy,
but can also stop the politicians from implementing anti-trust regs that influence their operations. I don't thing that MSFT would have any problem coming up with enough money to buy all of Washington.
During the same two years that I have owned SUNW, I have also owned MSFT,but Microsoft has gone from about 25 to 90.
Hate Microsoft? Are you from Mars? In your heart of hearts, you have to hate yourself for letting your emotions intrude in your investment
decisions. One other thought.
When I read or hear people say that they hate Microsoft, I wonder if they were turned down when they applied to MSFT for a job. Wow.
