Terrence, I will send you copy as soon as it comes out. Ever since my divorce I have found that I can count on night time to write. That would have been unthinkable when I was married needless to say. So far I have sent a play for publication but I have another play as well as a short novel of ideas (for lack of a better term) just about ready. Unfortunately my just about ready tends to expand with time but so be it. I write lyrical plays that have much in common with poetry. The internal reviewer at Minerva press thought that my play had echoes of the "alienists" Samuel Beckett and Bertolt Brecht. I do not know how much you know about these writers but to group them together as "alienists" seems, well, unnatural. If you wish to know about their affinities Beckett would certainly qualify as an existentialist and Brecht as a Marxist. Their alienist techniques refer to completely different spheres and to group them in that way is nonsensical. Even more so to say that I am their echo! The internal review was full of complements but they hardly inspired confidence or satisfaction. I have sent it to a publisher which, as far as I can tell, publishes good works of literature almost unfailingly. If they accept my submission I would be honored. We shall see.
