Yes, we are getting close to single digits again. After it has traded under ten solidly for a week I may go over to the long thread and invite them to come on over. All is forgiven.

I don't know the earnings estimate and I haven't heard any script data. I did attend a Pfizer meeting this evening to introduce the drug. They held a teleconference at noon EDT and replayed the tape for us here on MST (no, we don't put the clocks forward around here) at dinner time. This was exclusively for urologists. They are giving us a one month head start before they start to market it heavily to family docs and internists in mid-May.

What did I learn? Much of the figures presented are data that is already known (low drop out rate due to side effects was impressive, same as placebo group). Only contraindication is the concurrent use of nitroglycerin for angina. Vision risks have been greatly exagerated by the likes of TUNA. Very safe profile. Take one hour before needed. A fatty meal slows absorption, so in that case take two hours ahead of time. Time to peak concentration and half-life mean that it is effective for four+ hours. No prolonged erections in the study group. It does not affect libido as some have claimed. Only works with stimulation, unlike MUSE/Caverject (ready or not). Response rates among radical prostatectomy and diabetic patients look at least as good as MUSE. This should all be covered in the package insert and other info which is available, I believe, at the FDA website.

I am supposed to get office samples Friday (delivered in an armored car [g]) and it should be in the pharmacies in one to two weeks. I have already written prescriptions and the office is getting calls every day. Time will tell. Price? Probably $8-9 per pill. Clearly Pfizer is going to be aggressive on price compared to the alternatives on the market (MUSE $19-24, Caverject $16).
