Dwight, it is true that I asked for someone to explain exactly what it was in the Bible which was being used to justify prejudice against homosexuals. You explained what you thought, and I appreciated it. However, you went way beyond that when you insisted your beliefs were the Right Ones, and particularly when you started insinuating I was evil because I interpreted things differently than you do. Your statement that I am using the Bible to further my own agenda is particularly ludicrous. I think the Bible is a corrupted document, and while I believe generally in Jesus as a prophet, and in the messages of love and tolerance coming down to us from that time, I would never use the Bible to further my own agenda.
