Amazon had those two books, but I'm still waiting (not that I have much time to read....I spend some time on a lake in the Temagami Region of Canada each summer. I'll probably knock off one a day up there.)

Funny thing was, the book I originally wanted thay are having a hard time finding...."The Options Manual" by Gastineau.

The only thing about %R is that it's too easy, but I suppose I should not complain. Anyway it has been calling the turns so well I feel as if I'm getting a false sense of security.

It reminds me of a story I once heard about advanced military devices. The early ones were so good they did not need human intervention. But technicians got bored and would fiddle with the controls. So they programmed in instructions that would occasionally tell the technician to "Turn this Dial", "Hit that Button"...so the technicians would have something to do. The devices were programmed to ignore what the technician did; the device kept humming along and the technician kept occupied.

Perhaps if %R told me to hit a spacebar or something now and then I'd be more comfortable.
