<<What you have is a belief system, and I am sincerely glad that gives you comfort. I have a different belief system, and I believe I live a life that is as moral and ethical as yours. I do not believe either belief system is superior. I think people get into a lot of trouble when they believe they know The Truth. There is no one truth.>>
This is a prime example of moral relativism. Every one thinks their truth is THE truth. Billions of little gods doing their own thing. "You do your thing, I'll do mine, if ever the twain shall meet, that's cool." What a bunch of hip-liberal gobble-de-gook! There are absolutes, their is a Right and Wrong, for the Bible says it's so. The question always boils down to: Who is the authority? Who determines what is right or wrong? Moral relativists believe that each individual determines their own right or wrong and as long as you never interfere with anyone else's right or wrong, everything is just peachy. Christians on the other hand, believe that God is the ultimate authority and that his word (the Bible) is the last, only, infallible and divinely-inspired authority. That settles it!
Not on the fence with deep-thinkers, psuedo-intellectuals, or other free-thinking-anything-goes humanists.
