MatriDigm - it's a hell of a "company".

The following was excerpted from the compelling, and well-designed
MatriDigm web page:

[The technology behind the MatriDigm Code Analyzer has been used for
modification and maintenance of legacy applications for leading
telephone companies, financial institutions and high tech companies
since 1985. MatriDigm is currently enhancing and extending the primary
components of the MatriDigm Code Analyzer to solve the Year 2000
problem across a wide range of application program environments.]

This raises some interesting questions:

1) If Matridigm has seen such screaming success with their
"technology" for the past 11 years, why are they giving away half
the company now in private placements? With companies like Data
Dimensions getting stratospheric valuations even without a proprietary
conversion technology, you'd figure that investment bankers would be beating their doors down to float an IPO.

2) Franklin Chiang is truly a genius. He has been working on this
"technology" for 25 YEARS, and it's only very recently that MatriDigm
figures it's applicable to Y2K problems. Why not sooner? Wouldn't
have anything to do with the hype surrounding this problem - would it?

I shorted even more Zitel shares today. How about you?
