you could be right about laser. just read a report about those laser pointers--says that you need to avoid pointing it at the eyes--there were some injuries to cornea. that being said, i think that lasers SHOULD be safe for the breast relative to mammogram. the difference would be the ACCURACY AND OBJECTIVITY of extrapolating the algorithms into predictions about cancer rates. whoever is more accurate at the lowest cost wins this game.
