The correspondence is amazing don't you think. Here we are on Jijo. <g> Nice to see you Henry, glad to see you came out of Ask God with a full set of skin. Flaying and Filet(ing) sound the same. heheheh How about Gregory Benford, he is similar to Brin but a lot more technically inclined, he and Brin co-wrote The Heart of the Comet I believe, a Halley story that is quite strange. Benford is more like E. E. (Doc) Smith, who wrote the most "smashing stuff" if you know what I mean. Smith could describe a space battle better than anyone.
