This appears to be more of a blow to the LP's than to the stockholders. As a stockholder, fine cut the expenses and shut the machine down. It has been shown that the machine operates. As an LP one would be inclined to operate at as high a capacity as possible. The only way I can see that this decision flies at all with LPs is if they get a considerable amount of cheap stock options albeit at the expense of the existing stockholders with resulting dilution of shares and reduction in stock price. I'm not sure this is a bad management decision as far as the operation of the company itself (not the LP).
