try to clarify.
April has 30 days.
On the 15th day, DELL starts building with 17 days left in the Q. Unless the quarter ends on the last Friday of the Month which would be the 24 th, I don't know the details here. Will use the 30th for this.

With 17 days to Build and ship PC100 systems, take 17 and subtract 7-14 and you get 2 to 9 days of having boxes ready to ship.
That would imply only 2-9 days of revenue and shipments to help beef up Q1.

CPQ on the other hand, May have prebuilt machines and have them in the configuration channel, Granted they would probably have to shove some old machine out into the parking lot where they will get rained on, but we both know they are worthelss any way.
So in this newly created channel space, they could have a few pc100s ready to go except for a few customisable parts like HD NIC etc..

This would enable CPQ to ship more boxex in the month of April than DELL.

And just maybe put a dent into DELLs revenues for the last week of the Q.
