My take was that LU and CIEN would split the WDM portion 50/50. LU has DWDM products right now (16 channel), only their 80 channel product is vaporware.

LU did get a much larger contract from Bell Atlantic than Ciena did, but not for WDM equipment. LU is well diversified and has different products to offer BA.
