Eric, IBM said NCs will replace 30% of PCs, I am just reporting it. Carefully read my post. I never they will make "fileservers irrelevant", you said that. >Diskless clients need file storage for the documents and data that they manipulate. Not necessarily true. Please read up on the NCs before making this statement. NCs are not diskless clients, as you report. Furthermore NDS is not a supported service on them. Novell is out in the cold for now in this new market. Eric, why don't you take it upon yourself to talk to the manufacturers of NC appliances and see what they say about the place for Netware products in this market? Then report your unbiased findings to the group. That way nobody will have to deal with conjecture.
