You mean it's not in the client specification. I'm talking about the back-end (which you are again conveniently ignoring). There has to be a server for those apps to be loaded from, and there have to be administrative tools for managing accounts, security, and everything else that a repository needs. NDS and NAL, combined with Novell's cross-platform expertise and market share, make NetWare a natural as the back-end platform of choice, especially in mixed environments.

More clients means more servers too. Who else is going to fill this role?
